VYSA changes policy on Metro - all clubs can apply to enter teams

The VYSA Board of Directors has unanimously voted to open up Metro level play to all its clubs starting with the 2019-20 season. Clubs will apply through a VYSA committee that will vet the applicants and make recommnedations  to the VYSA Board on which teams should be allowed to play in the BCCSL Metro division. No more than two teams will be allowed in any one division. More info is available on the VYSA website here.

VUFC will prepare accordingly for this change in policy. Technical Director Gus Karvelis will incorporate the option of Metro into the upcoming evaluations for 2019-20 teams. VUFC looks forward to discussions with other clubs and the VYSA Board and Development Committee to ensure a cordial roll out of this new policy.
